6/3/2010 - Short entry today

We're at Cody's in the Silverton Hills tonight so I'm being subjected to a dial-up connection.  Pretty slow.  We came over to the valley today and have managed to get almost everything we're looking for.  We stopped by our friends' Mark & Vickie's house to pick up a bunch of charts of California they gave us. Their slow trip down the coast last year (Sailing with Mark and Vicki) was what inspired us to make a very slow harbor-hopping trip down the Oregon and California coasts instead of just high-tailing it to SF then San Diego and then to Mexico.  Too much to see in between.  Don't want to miss any of it.
