This is the tale of Stephen and Lulu Yoder and their Westsail 28, Siempre Sabado. After dreaming of chucking it all and sailing off to the tropics for the past 30 years or so, the dream has finally begun.

Good morning, Steve & Lulu: Great picture, now I know what she looks like. I have shared the picture with Thibaud (the young man from Belgium who is staying with us for 3 months) and when he gets back this afternoon, he wants me to give him your blog address because he would like to follow your traveling like I do. Also thanks for the picture of island. Take care, good luck, good sailing and my love to both of you - Nancy
Beautiful boat! It does seem much harder to get a picture of our own boat with the sails up, since you have to rely on somebody else to take it. Nice!
OK guys, now lets watch the weather and plan some passages where you use these guys for most of the trip
Paul
I hear that, Paul. Next leg may be a multi-day trip to Catalina so that might be a natural. Need to check the weather as soon as I finish writing this.

Wow, that is really pretty if pretty is the right word to describe a sailboat. Love, Mom
Mom, "pretty" is exactly the right word to use to describe a sailboat. Other acceptable adjectives are beautiful, gorgeous, and bitchin', although I can't actually see you using the latter.

Beautiful!
Thanks, honey, your Mom would not use the last word. She may think it once in awhile but never utter it. anyway, it is a pretty, beautiful, gorgeous boat. Love, Mom
