Here's a link to a webcam in Avalon. It's not a movie camera so you'll have to refresh it occasionally to get an accurate picture. Tell ya what: if we remember, we'll try to be sitting on the end of the bench on the right and side of the picture tomorrow at 1:00 PM. We'll stay there for 5 or 10 minutes. Maybe you'll be able to see us. The marvels of modern electronics.

I just checked and the link said it was at 1:14 and there you were, with your backs to the camera, looking out to sea! So cool. I think our cruise checks in at Catalina. Looking forward to that./Beverly

OK, so that worked out just so-so. Scott spotted us and so did Beverly and Machelle. And, no, I haven't lost my hair nor do I wear tank tops very often. Certainly wasn't wearing one today. At least we have a couple of eyewitnesses who can vouch for the fact that we were actually on Catalina and I'm not just holed up in some cabin somewhere writing this stuff.
